Egg donors are unique women. So it’s fitting that egg donor compensation is not one size fits all, either. Here’s how it works.
Our donors’ commitments and responsibilities vary depending on their daily lives. With this in mind, we don’t attempt to generalize the value of each individual’s time and efforts by designating a specific compensation for all of our donors.
As a ballpark, donor compensation ranges from $8,000 to $15,000, with first time donor compensation beginning at $8,000 and increasing for subsequent cycles.
$8,000 - $15,000
In addition to this compensation, the intended parents will also pay for all related expenses including:
All medical expenses
The Family Inceptions agency fee
Donor represented attorney fee
Accidental donor insurance
All travel expenses
Bottom line: as a donor you are not responsible for anything financial that is related to your donation. However, you must keep your receipts if we need to reimburse you for any reason.
Additionally, egg donor complication insurance is purchased on your behalf and covers you for the donation. You'll only be held financially responsible if you have started medications and back out of the donation for a non-medical reason.
Finally, we make all of the necessary arrangements for any out-of-state travel. The average number of days required for a retrieval trip is 5 to 7, so please make sure that your school, work, and family life will fit this schedule: children and pets are not allowed to accompany you.
