Do You Qualify To Become A Surrogate

It takes a team to create the dream, and we want everyone to be safe, healthy and happy on this journey.
Personal Requirements
  • Are you between the age of 24-39 years?
  • Do you have a Body Mass Index (BMI) between 19-31 (BMI Calculator link)?
  • Are you a non-smoker for at least 2 years + living in a smoke-free home?
  • Do you have a clean criminal background (surrogate + partner)?
  • Are you and your partner comfortable undergoing a mandatory psychological screening?
  • Are you a US Citizen or a Permanent Resident?
Health Requirements
  • Have given birth to at least one child and currently parenting or have parented a child?
  • Have you had no more than 4 deliveries and 2 c-sections?
  • Have your previous pregnancies and deliveries been uncomplicated including but not limited to no preterm labor, toxemia, incompetent cervix, pre-eclampsia, and pregnancy-induced hypertension)?
  • Are you able to provide OB/GYN records and a doctor’s clearance letter?
  • Are you free of any recent history of mental health illnesses and not currently taking prescribed medications (anxiety, depression, bi-polar, postpartum depression)?
  • Are you Covid-19 vaccinated (Not a must but preferred)?
Financial Requirements
  • Are you not currently receiving government assistance (cash aid, state funded insurance, or food stamps)?
  • Are you financially stable and able to support your family?
  • Is there no history of bankruptcy within the last year?
Lifestyle Requirements
  • Do you have a supportive partner, friend, or family member?
  • Do you agree to a mandatory home visit with all the residents and pets?
